Seth and his brother Jesse have been coming to Arizona Camp Sunrise and Sidekicks since 1993 when Jesse was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 5. Both have been volunteers with the organization ever since they were old enough to serve, working as camp counselors as well as planning and programming committee members. After enjoying years of fun as a camper and the rewarding work as a volunteer, Seth was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer in 2019, as well as skin cancer (2020) and thyroid cancer (2021). As a result, he has had the (rather unlucky) opportunity to see the challenges faced by both cancer patients and their siblings. After a tough yet remarkable recovery, he is committed to redoubling his efforts to further the cause that this amazing organization has afforded him.
