James was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age 4, and has been involved with Arizona Camp Sunrise and Sunrise Sidekicks since the age of 10.  James has volunteered as a cabin counselor, has actively engaged in the programming and planning side of camp, as well as assisted in interviewing incoming camp staff.  James is excited to join the SWKCF board and help to grow and shape the future of our camp programs.  Camp is a place for kids that have endured childhood cancer to let go of that pain and just be kids, while still having a community of counselors, doctors, and other kids who have similar experiences.
